My Squarespace website building process, phase-by-phase…
1️⃣ Onboarding You complete an in-depth questionnaire about your business, your brand, your buyers & your website goals and upload your brand assets (logo, brand photography) to Google Drive. Don’t worry about image size and naming, I’ll sort that.
2️⃣ Site Strategy. At kickoff, we get on a Zoom call to go over your questionnaire answers and assets! During this call we’ll also strategise your website layout, content architecture (page by page), and functionality. If I’m writing your copy, I’ll do that after this session.
3️⃣ Website Design & Development. With the strategic foundations laid, I‘ll take your website copy, imagery and brand visuals and create a mock-up of your website in Figma. Once this is approved by you—a period of edits are included—then I'll start building your site out in Squarespace, adding clearly labelled custom CSS where needed.
4️⃣ Launch & Training. I’ll connect any tech integrations (such as scheduling, email marketing, and so forth), test it’s working correctly, and handover the live website to you! I create training videos so you understand how to use your website & maintain it moving forwards.
